Jordan Daily – The government on Monday dismissed what it described as false and misleading claims circulating about the land allocated for the Amra City project, calling them unfounded rumours that harm a strategic national investment.
Government spokesperson and Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani said the land has a clear legal status, is properly registered with the Land and Survey Department, and that all ownership, transfer and valuation procedures were carried out in accordance with the law and with full transparency.
Momani warned that authorities would take legal action against anyone found spreading false information that undermines state projects, institutions or public funds.
He said the Amra City project is a major economic initiative linked to the Economic Modernisation Vision, aimed at boosting growth, attracting investment and creating jobs, urging the public to rely only on official sources for information.
