Jordan Daily – The House of Representatives is set to initiate today discussions on four draft laws, including a significant cybercrime bill, which received approval from the House Legal Committee.
The committee, in the presence of ministers, granted its endorsement to the 2023 cybercrime law on Tuesday, with some modifications made to the government’s original draft.
According to Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Ahmed Al-Khalayleh, the amendments introduced by the committee entail a substantial 50% reduction in the financial fines outlined in articles 15 and 17 of the draft law.
