Jordan Daily – Lower House Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi met with Hungary’s ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali on Wednesday to discuss bilateral ties and regional issues, including the Palestinian cause and the Gaza conflict, the parliament said in a statement.
The statement said Al-Safadi and Kali praised King Abdullah II’s efforts to end the violence in Gaza and support the two-state solution as the only way to achieve peace and justice for the Palestinians.
Al-Safadi reiterated Jordan’s solidarity with the Palestinians and their right to establish an independent state on their national territory, while Kali commended Jordan’s role in promoting security and stability in the region and seeking peaceful solutions to various crises.
