Jordan Daily – A delegation from Huawei Jordan, accompanied by regional office representatives, visited Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) on Monday to present the company’s latest smart campus and digital infrastructure solutions.
During the visit, Huawei officials met with University President Dr. Ismael Al-Hinti and several academic staff members. The company showcased its cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing learning environments through smart classrooms and intelligent infrastructure, supporting the digital transformation of higher education institutions.
Discussions also focused on Huawei’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, particularly those related to talent development. The company highlighted its platforms designed to strengthen the ICT ecosystem in Jordanian universities through training programs, capacity building, and preparation for the digital job market.
Dr. Al-Hinti expressed strong interest in expanding collaboration with Huawei, citing the company’s role in integrating advanced theoretical and practical curricula at HTU.
He emphasized the university’s commitment to forming strategic partnerships that provide students with state-of-the-art educational experiences.
The visit is part of Huawei’s ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation in Jordan’s higher education sector and to foster partnerships with academic institutions for a sustainable and digitally empowered future.
