Ibn Sina University, Cairo Amman Bank sign agreement for smart ID card system

Jordan Daily – Ibn Sina University for Medical Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with Cairo Amman Bank on Thursday, October 31, to issue smart university ID cards for students and staff.

The initiative aims to facilitate access to university facilities and provide advanced payment solutions. The agreement was signed by the university’s President, Professor Darwish Badran, and the bank’s General Manager, Dr. Kamal Al-Bakri.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both sides. Representing Ibn Sina University were Professor Ayman Al-Baz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Mamoun Al-Rawashdeh, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Amira Kassab, Dean of Scientific Research, and Dr. Ghazi Sharkas, Head of Student Affairs. From Cairo Amman Bank, Deputy General Manager Maha Ababneh, Executive Director of Banking Services and Marketing Hani Khadr, along with Khaldoun and Mohammad Al-Burini, were present.

Following the signing, the Cairo Amman Bank delegation toured the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, expressing admiration for the university’s advanced facilities and the expertise of its faculty.

University President Badran also briefed the delegation on the university’s future plans and new academic programs aimed at strengthening its status in the medical field.
