Ibn Sina University celebrates Independence Day

Jordan Daily –  Ibn Sina University for Medical Sciences marked Independence Day with a celebration attended by university president Prof. Darwish Badran, faculty and administrative staff, and a large number of students.

The event featured a special performance by the Public Security Directorate band, adding an atmosphere of pride and patriotism. A recorded address by His Majesty King Abdullah II was also presented, highlighting the significance of independence and reaffirming national values of loyalty and belonging under the Hashemite leadership.

Students actively participated in the festivities, expressing their love for Jordan through traditional dance and patriotic songs. The event also included a cultural food exhibition showcasing popular dishes from various governorates, adding a festive and communal touch.

In his remarks, Prof. Badran expressed the university’s pride in celebrating the national occasion, emphasizing that independence is a driving force for continued excellence and development in academic life.

He underscored the importance of instilling citizenship and national identity in students, pointing to the key role educational institutions play in shaping conscious and engaged future leaders in line with the vision of Jordan’s wise leadership.
