Jordan Daily – IKEA is recalling its ÅSKSTORM 40W USB charger dark grey, article number 50461193, and offering a full refund to customers who own it, the company said on Wednesday.
In a press release sent to Jordan Daily , the recall is due to a risk of thermal burn and electric shock from the power cable, which may get damaged or broken after long-term use, IKEA said in a statement.
The product, which has the model number ICPSW5-40-1 on the back label, was sold in IKEA stores and online.
“Safety is a top priority for IKEA and we develop our products using a rigorous risk assessment and testing program,” the statement said.
