India showcases pharma excellence at Arab Pharma Expo 2025 in Amman

Jordan Daily – The 7th Arab Pharma Manufacturers’ Expo concluded Wednesday in Amman, drawing over 2,500 participants and 250 exhibitors from 25 countries. Held at the Jordan International Exhibition Center on July 8-9, the event was the region’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing exhibition.

The event was jointly organized by the Arab Union of The Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances (AUPAM) and GPE Expo Pvt Ltd., India, with support from the Jordan Food & Drug Administration (JFDA), the Jordan Chamber of Industry, ACDIMA (Arab Company for Drug Industries & Medical Appliances), EEPC India, and various regional associations. The expo was inaugurated by the Minister of Health Dr. Firas Al-Hawwari, according to a statement released by the Embassy of India in Amman.

India emerged as a key player at the expo, with 120 companies showcasing pharmaceutical machinery, APIs, packaging solutions, and laboratory technologies. The strong Indian presence underscored its growing influence in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and led to multiple high-level B2B meetings aimed at boosting trade ties with Jordan and the broader region.

The event reinforced Jordan’s role as a regional pharmaceutical hub and emphasized the deepening collaboration between Indian and Arab pharma industries, the statement noted.
