Jordan Daily – Interior Minister, Mazen Al-Faraya, highlighted the significant role of the industrial sector in contributing to the national economy and attracting foreign currency.
In a meeting with both Jordanian and foreign investors at the Amman Chamber of Industry, Al-Faraya expressed pride in the local products that resonate with citizens, even when they are abroad.
The minister emphasized the crucial link between unemployment and security, underscoring the importance of the industrial sector in generating job opportunities to address this concern.
Regarding visa and residency procedures, Al-Faraya mentioned the availability of electronic visas for up to five years and simplified residency arrangements for investors. He also highlighted the existence of numerous electronic services, which, despite their availability, remain largely unknown to the public.
Al-Faraya welcomed feedback from all investors , and acknowledged that while challenges may exist, Jordan continues to strive for progress in comparison to its regional counterparts.
