
Jordan Daily – Irbid Governor Radwan Atoum paid an official visit to Syria’s Daraa Governorate on Tuesday, marking the first such visit of its kind. He met with Daraa Governor Anwar Al-Zoubi and members of the executive council.
Atoum emphasized the strength of Jordanian-Syrian ties, highlighting King Abdullah II’s efforts in fostering bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
The two sides discussed key issues of mutual interest and agreed to form joint committees between chambers of commerce and industry to explore cooperation between the private sectors. Outcomes will be submitted to the relevant authorities in both countries.
Atoum described the visit as a positive step toward deeper collaboration, praising the warm reception and brotherly spirit that prevailed during the talks.
