Jordan Daily – Israeli settlers attacked a Jordanian aid convoy bound for Gaza, injuring several drivers and damaging trucks, Jordanian sources said on Monday.
The 52-truck convoy, organized with the World Food Programme and escorted by the Jordanian military, took over 24 hours to cross Israeli territory—a route normally requiring only a few hours.
Only 29 trucks reached Gaza, while the rest were delayed or damaged due to repeated assaults, the sources said.
Jordan condemned the attacks as a violation of international humanitarian law and said it would continue to support Gaza.
Since the start of the aggression, Jordan has sent 7,815 aid trucks and 155 aircraft carrying humanitarian supplies via land and air corridors.
