Throughout his tenure, he continued to serve his country as a dedicated deputy in parliament and was appointed the esteemed position of First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In 1991, Al-Sarairah assumed several significant ministerial roles, including Minister of Transportation and Minister telecommunications & Postal Services, and also took charge as Chairman of the Board of the state-owned Jordanian Telecommunications Corporation. In this capacity, he displayed exceptional leadership skills, steering the telecommunications sector towards privatization—an unprecedented achievement in the country.

His pioneering efforts bore fruit, as Jordan’s telecommunications sector flourished, currently standing as one of the most advanced in the region. This sector’s substantial contribution solidifies Al-Sarairah’s indelible mark on Jordan’s economic landscape. His invaluable contributions continued as a member of the cabinet until 1999.

Expanding his horizons, Al-Sarairah embarked on an enriching journey with FLAG, later known as Reliance-Globalcom. This international venture allowed him to refine his negotiation skills, engaging in multi-party discussions and managing global sales. The expertise gained during this period became instrumental in his subsequent appointment as Chairman of the Board of the esteemed Arab Potash Company.

In 2012, Al-Sarairah was appointed Chairman of the Board of Arab Potash Company , taking charge of a company grappling with labor disputes and strained union relations.Furthermore, there were growing calls to sever ties with the Canadian strategic partner. With his characteristic determination and exceptional leadership, Al- Sarairah successfully resolved these complex challenges through inclusive collaboration, safeguarding national interests.

Today, the Arab Potash Company is expanding its production and venturing into new markets. Serving as a crucial pillar in the national economy, the mining sector’s contribution to Jordan’s GDP has surged. Furthermore, the company spearheads initiatives that foster public-private partnerships, particularly in vital sectors such as water management and social services. Al-Sarairah’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is commendable, as the company’s programs positively impact local communities.

Educationally, Al-Sarairah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from Kuwait University. He further expanded his knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Higher Diploma in International Law and International Relations from the esteemed University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
