Muhaidat emphasized that the drug price reduction program is a key priority for the Administration , with an ongoing work plan for periodic price reviews and reassessments. The JFDA aims to further reduce prices for other therapeutic categories in the future, aligning with the royal directives to ensure medication security and accessibility for citizens.

The price reductions are expected to provide substantial relief to patients and contribute to enhancing the accessibility of essential medications in the country, Muhaidat noted.
