Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates urged the international community to maintain support for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) following Sweden’s decision to halt funding.
The ministry expressed regret over Sweden’s move and called for a reconsideration, citing its long-standing support for the agency.
Jordan emphasized the critical role UNRWA plays in serving Palestinian refugees and reiterated opposition to any attempts to undermine its mandate or replace its services.
