Jordan Daily – Jordan on Tuesday condemned Israel’s closure of six UNRWA-run schools in occupied East Jerusalem, calling it a “blatant violation of international law.”
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah said the move would deprive around 800 students of education and was part of a “systematic campaign” to undermine the UN agency’s role.
Qudah warned of “catastrophic consequences” and urged the international community to pressure Israel to reverse the decision and support UNRWA’s continued operations.
