Jordan Daily – Jordan on Wednesday condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments backing a “Greater Israel” vision, calling them a dangerous provocation that violates international law and threatens regional stability.
Foreign ministry spokesperson Ambassador Sufian Qudah said the kingdom “categorically rejects such inciting statements,” describing them as “absurd illusions” that will not undermine Jordan, Arab states, or the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
Qudah said the comments and policies reflect “the troubled situation of the Israeli government” and coincide with what he described as its growing international isolation over its ongoing war on Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
He warned that such claims, promoted by “extremists within the Israeli government,” fuel cycles of violence and conflict, and urged a clear international stance to condemn them, caution against their “grave consequences” for regional security and stability, and hold those making them accountable.
