Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Friday congratulated the United Nations on its 80th anniversary, praising its role in promoting peace, security and human rights worldwide.
Ministry spokesperson Fouad Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to the UN Charter, stressing that multilateralism and international cooperation are key to addressing global challenges.
Majali noted that Jordan marks 70 years of UN membership this year and values its longstanding partnership with the organization, particularly in supporting refugees and peacekeeping efforts.
He added that the UN remains “a beacon of hope” for nations seeking justice and peace, and said Jordan looks forward to continued close cooperation with the UN and its agencies.
