Jordan eases entry for Syrians residing in select countries

Jordan Daily – Interior Ministry announced on Sunday that Syrian nationals residing in several countries will now be allowed to enter the kingdom without prior approval.

The ministry stated that Syrians living in European countries, the Americas, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will be permitted entry into Jordan, provided they hold valid residency permits for at least four months in the countries they are arriving from.

The decision aims to facilitate travel for Syrian nationals residing in those countries, particularly for those returning to their homeland.
