Jordan Daily – Jordan began evacuating its citizens from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday through the Rafah crossing, in coordination with the Egyptian authorities, to transport them to the kingdom as soon as possible.
The foreign ministry spokesman, Ambassador Sufian al-Qudah, said the ministry, through its operations center and embassy in Egypt, was working to ensure the transfer and safety of the Jordanian citizens, and that the evacuation process would last for several days.
He added that a team from the Jordanian embassy in Cairo had been sent to the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, where they would secure the Jordanian citizens who would leave Gaza by buses and take them to the kingdom as quickly as possible.
