Jordan Express Tourist Transport returns to profit in 2025 on strong revenue growth

Jordan Daily – Jordan Express Tourist Transport (JETT) said its preliminary net profit attributable to shareholders reached JOD 2.25 million in 2025, reversing a loss of JOD 246,758 in 2024, as passenger and tourism transport revenues rose sharply.

Total revenue increased 63.2% to JOD 31.30 million dinars in the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, compared with JOD 19.18 million a year earlier, according to a disclosure sent to Amman Stock Exchange, seen by Jordan Daily.

Cost of revenues rose to JOD 24.93 million from 15.75 million , while gross profit climbed to JOD 6.36 million  from 3.43 million dinars.

Administrative expenses increased to JOD 3.70 million from 3.10 million, while finance costs fell to 39,576 dinars from 178,122 . Other gains rose to 808,742 from JOD 440,723.

Profit before tax reached JOD 3.29 million , compared with 299,401 in the previous year. Net profit after tax stood at JOD 2.29 million dinars, versus a net loss of 228,576 in 2024.

The company attributed the revenue growth primarily to an JOD11 million increase in passenger transport revenues, alongside gains of  JOD 750,000 in tourism transport, 450,000 in bus rental, and 210,000 dinars in tourism and travel services. These increases were partially offset by a JOD 260,000 decline in visa and commission income.

Total comprehensive income attributable to shareholders reached JOD 2.39 million , compared with a loss of 661,960 a year earlier.

Jordan Express Tourist Transport (JETT) was established in 1964 in Jerusalem. In 1966, the company relocated its headquarters to Amman, where it was reconstituted as a public shareholding company, marking the start of its expansion as one of the country’s leading passenger and tourism transport operators.

The company is currently led by Chief Executive Officer Khaled Allahham.
