Jordan Daily – Jordan is considering resuming flights to Syria soon, according to the head of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Haitham Misto. However, the decision is contingent on developments and the readiness of Syrian airports to receive air traffic.
Speaking to Al Mamlaka TV, Misto said that the resumption of flights to Damascus also depends on the safety of Syrian airspace. He emphasized that flights will only restart after all technical and logistical matters have been fully assessed.
He added that these standard requirements apply to all airports and airspaces that handle international flights.
