Jordan eyes Russian tourists at MITT Moscow 2025

Jordan Daily -The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) concluded its participation in the 2025 Russian International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT), held in Moscow from March 18 to 20, to promote Jordan as a key destination for Russian tourists.

The Jordanian pavilion featured tourism offices, hotels, and Royal Jordanian Airlines, facilitating meetings with major Russian travel firms. Jordan’s Ambassador to Russia, Khaled Al-Shawabkeh, emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral tourism ties.

Jordan Tourism Board Managing Director Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said the Russian market is emerging as a promising source of visitors. He highlighted Jordan’s renowned attractions, including Petra, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum, and noted strong interest from Russian companies.

Discussions focused on easing travel procedures, enhancing direct flights, and launching marketing campaigns targeting Russian audiences. Arabiyat said initial agreements were reached with Russian firms to promote Jordan, with follow-ups planned to boost visitor numbers.

MITT Moscow, one of Russia’s largest tourism events, attracts global participants seeking industry partnerships and market insights.
