Jordan grants visa-on-arrival for Iraqis amid airspace closure

Jordan Daily – Jordan will allow Iraqi passport holders to enter the country via Queen Alia International Airport without a prior visa, the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.

The move aims to ease travel for Iraqis after Iraq closed its airspace due to recent regional developments, ministry spokesperson Abdel Karim Abu Dalo said.

Visas will be issued on arrival following a brief interview and payment of standard fees, with guarantees required to ensure departure. The policy is a temporary exception, the ministry noted.
