Jordan Daily – Jordan is free of the fast-spreading coronavirus variant “JN1”, according to Dr. Raed Al-Shboul, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care.
After conducting genetic sequencing of the “JN1” variant, it was found that the country is free of it and no cases have been recorded ,he said.
Al-Shboul noted the World Health Organization classifies COVID-19 infections as seasonal influenza.
