Jordan Daily – Jordan will allow the import of foodstuffs from Yemen after inspecting and testing each shipment for safety, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply said on Tuesday.
The ministry said in a statement that it has issued a circular to importers and customs authorities to facilitate the entry of Yemeni food products, including fish, grains, honey, canned goods and spices.
The decision was based on the advice of the National Epidemic Committee, which monitors the health situation in Yemen and other countries, the ministry added.
