Jordan Daily – Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, reaffirmed the kingdom’s historical positions and continuous efforts in support of the Palestinian people emphasizing the commitment to ending the unprecedented historical injustice they face.
Safadi also highlighted Jordan’s readiness, along with Egyptian counterpart, to deliver thousands of tons of aid daily to meet the needs of Palestinians in Gaza.
These statements were made during Safadi’s participation in a trilateral ministerial meeting hosted by Egypt. The meeting included Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné.
The discussions focused on developments in Gaza, efforts to halt the war , protect civilians, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. The ministers jointly issued a statement calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of all hostages and detainees, and full implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions 2712, 2720, and 2728. These resolutions include facilitating humanitarian access to Gaza and the immediate release of all hostages.
The ministers also condemned all violations and breaches of international and humanitarian law.
