Jordan Daily – The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), through its Royal Medical Services (RMS), received a shipment of medical supplies and equipment from Germany on Tuesday, intended to bolster the operations of Jordanian field hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, German Ambassador to Jordan Bertram von Moltke highlighted that since 2023, Germany has delivered a total of ten tonnes of medical supplies and medicines to Jordanian field hospitals in Gaza. He praised the RMS for its commitment to providing essential aid to those in need and reaffirmed Germany’s dedication to supporting ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Brigadier General Yousef Zureikat, Director General of the RMS, expressed gratitude on behalf of the JAF for Germany’s continued support, especially in light of the challenging circumstances in Gaza. Zureikat emphasized the crucial role of international cooperation in crisis response, enabling the RMS to deliver quality healthcare, save lives, and alleviate suffering in the conflict-ridden region.
The JAF is coordinating with other countriesto sustain the work of its field hospitals in Gaza, ensuring uninterrupted aid delivery to those affected by the ongoing conflict, Zureikat added.
