Jordan Daily – Jordan’s telecoms regulator said on Sunday disruptions to submarine cables in the Red Sea were causing slower connections but no countrywide internet outage.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission said some traffic was being rerouted and that Jordan’s diverse international links, including through Aqaba and via Saudi Arabia, were helping limit the impact.
Repairs to the damaged cables could take weeks, it added.
