Jordan says airspace safe, no major risk amid Iran-Israel ceasefire

Jordan Daily – Jordan faces no current security threat following a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, official said Tuesday.

Over 250 drones, missiles, and fragments fell across the country during the 12-day conflict, according to Ahmed Al-Naimat of the National Center for Security and Crisis Management. Eight minor injuries were reported.

Separately, Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, confirmed that Jordanian airspace remains safe for civil aviation.

The ceasefire between Iran and Israel took effect earlier on Tuesday, ending 12 days of heightened military activity during which Jordan’s airspace was repeatedly violated by Iranian projectiles.
