Jordan Daily – Prime Ministry on Saturday announced the signing of two foreign investment agreements worth 133 million dinars in the healthcare sector.
One deal covers the construction of a new public hospital in Madaba, while the other focuses on digitizing hospitals under the Royal Medical Services.
Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said this marks the first public hospital built through public-private partnership. The 260-bed Madaba hospital, expandable to 360 beds, will be fully government-run and completed in three years.
The agreements were signed in the presence of Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, chairman of KBW Ventures, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti.
