Jordan Daily – Captain Haitham Misto, head of Jordan’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, announced on Monday the suspension of all flights by Jordanian airlines to Beirut, Lebanon, until further notice.
Misto said the decision was made to safeguard the safety and security of Jordanian aircraft and passengers.
The move comes as Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon have escalated, leaving more than 270 people dead and over 1,000 wounded.
