Jordan Daily – Jordan took part in the Culture, Heritage, Arts, Narrative, Diplomacy, Innovation Summit (CHANDI 2025) in Bali, Indonesia, from Sept. 3 to 5, the Ministry of Culture said on Thursday.
The kingdom was represented by Ministry Secretary-General Nidal Al-Ayasrah, along with Jordan’s ambassador to Jakarta, Sudqi Al-Omoush. The summit was opened by Indonesian Culture Minister Fadli Zon on behalf of the country’s president.
Al-Ayasrah said in the opening session that culture and the arts serve as soft power to foster peace and understanding, citing Jordan’s initiatives such as the Amman Message and the Jerash Festival.
On the sidelines, Jordanian and Indonesian officials discussed finalizing a cultural cooperation agreement covering film, heritage, and tourism, the ministry added.
