Jordan Daily – The head of Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Haitham Misto, announced on Saturday that the commission will dispatch technical teams to assess the safety and security conditions of Damascus International Airport, in order to evaluate the risks associated with resuming flights.
Misto added that there are operational requirements related to aviation safety and security that will be taken into account before flights to Damascus can be restarted.
