Jordan Daily – The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) will officially launch satellite internet services in the country next Wednesday, the commission announced.
A press conference is scheduled to be held to outline the full details of the service rollout.
The TRC previously confirmed that Starlink, the satellite internet division of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is authorized to provide satellite-based internet services in Jordan.
In 2023, the government granted Starlink a telecommunications license, paving the way for the company’s entry into the local market.
