Jordan Daily – Major General Yousef Ahmed Hnaity, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, met with a British defence adviser on Wednesday to discuss ways to strengthen military ties and cooperation amid regional and international challenges, the Jordanian armed forces said.
Hnaity and Martin Sampson, the British Defence Senior Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa, reviewed the latest developments in the region and the world, the statement said.
They also explored potential areas of collaboration between the Jordanian and British armed forces and various issues of common interest, it added.
The meeting emphasised the importance of joint efforts to address threats and challenges, enhance security and stability in the region, and advance defence cooperation and coordination, according to the statement.
