Jordan Daily – Around 180,000 Syrians have entered Jordan since the kingdom began allowing them to visit for tourism under the sponsorship of licensed Jordanian travel agencies, according to an official from the Ministry of Interior.
The regulations, introduced last year, allow Syrians to visit relatives in Jordan with the support of an accredited travel agency. The Interior Ministry has facilitated their entry while also simplifying the process for visitors from other countries through prior approvals and guarantees, ensuring they do not exceed the one-month stay limit.
The ministry said Syrians living in Europe, the United States, and other countries must apply through the e-services website to enter Jordan.
The average processing time for these applications is 7 to 10 business days, and visitors are required to have a round-trip ticket when they arrive, the ministry noted.
