Jordan Daily – An official military source said that the southern military region successfully thwarted an illegal border infiltration attempt on Monday by three individuals.
The source further stated the Border Guard forces enacted the rules of engagement, resulting in the apprehension of three infiltrators : a Turk, an Azeri, and a Georgian individual who was discovered in an unconscious state. Immediate first aid was administered, and the individual was subsequently transferred to Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein Hospital, where unfortunately he was pronounced deceased. The remaining two individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities.
Emphasizing commitment to border security, the source affirmed that the Jordanian armed forces respond with utmost vigilance to any attempted infiltration or smuggling, asserting the safeguarding of national security and the prevention of any tampering with border integrity.
