Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) thwarted an attempt by seven Sri Lankan nationals to infiltrate the Kingdom’s southern borders at dawn on Wednesday.
A JAF source said that the Border Guard forces applied the rules of engagement and arrested the seven individuals. They were then transferred to the relevant authorities.
The source confirmed that the JAF will deal with force and firmness with any infiltration or smuggling attempt in order to protect the borders and prevent those who would tamper with Jordanian national security.
