Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) held talks in Amman with a Chinese delegation from the Binzhou Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs to explore ways to strengthen economic cooperation and expand business-to-business links between the two countries, the association said on Tuesday.
JBA Chairman, Ayman Al-Alawneh said partnerships between Jordanian and Chinese business communities serve the interests of institutions in both countries and support sustainable economic growth, noting the Binzhou–Jordan Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum reflects the depth of Jordanian-Chinese relations, built over decades of mutual respect and cooperation in trade, investment and industry.
Alawneh added the association aims to deepen cooperation through joint investments, projects and economic forums, highlighting opportunities in energy, information technology and mining, indicating that Jordan’s strategic location, diverse investment opportunities and skilled workforce make it an attractive destination for Chinese investors and a regional hub serving surrounding markets.
Lin Fenghua, Secretary General of the Binzhou Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, said strengthening ties with Jordan could open new opportunities for joint investments and knowledge exchange. He described Binzhou, located in China’s Shandong province, as an important economic center with strengths in energy, agriculture, livestock and light industries.
The Chinese delegation included companies from industry, trade, agriculture, energy and livestock sectors, with bilateral meetings focusing on potential partnerships and investment opportunities.
