Jordanian cartoonist’s work stolen and distorted by Israeli website

By : JD News Desk

Jordan Daily –  Jordanian cartoonist Emad Hajjaj said on Wednesday that an Israeli website had stolen one of his caricatures and altered it to portray a different message.

Hajjaj, who publishes his cartoons on his Facebook page, said the website had taken his original cartoon that showed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu holding a bloody cleaver and standing over a pile of Palestinian bodies, and changed it to show a masked man holding a baby.

“This is piracy that shows the inability of Israeli cartoonists to create a convincing cartoon idea and failure to justify the brutality of their state , clear to the whole world,” Hajjaj wrote on his Facebook.
