Jordan Daily – A new humanitarian aid convoy for northern Gaza crossed the border on Monday .The convoy was organized by the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), and supported by various institutions, organizations, and associations.
The convoy, consisting of 40 trucks, carried food parcels, medical supplies, and dialysis solutions, which will be distributed to the people of Gaza through partner organizations and associations in the region.
Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of JHCO, emphasized the comprehensive nature of the humanitarian aid being delivered to Gaza, aiming to meet essential and basic needs in the sector.
He highlighted that the primary goal is the continuous dispatch and entry of humanitarian aid convoys. “We strive to reach the largest number of people in northern Gaza across various areas,” Al-Shibli stated.
He noted that the total number of land trucks that have entered Gaza to date stands at 2,514, in addition to 53 planes via Al-Arish.
