Jordanian evacuation efforts from Gaza continue amid tensions

Jordan Daily – The Royal Jordanian Air Force’s second evacuation aircraft touched down at Marka Military Airport in Amman on Monday, carrying 24 Jordanians who were safely evacuated from Gaza.

The aircraft, dispatched by Jordan, had earlier arrived at Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, in accordance with royal directives to evacuate Jordanians residing and currently present in Gaza, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Today, 81 Jordanians were evacuated from Gaza via the Rafah border into Egypt. Of these, 24 were flown to Marka Military Airport by an RJAF plane, while the remaining evacuees will be transported to Jordan as soon as possible .

Sufyan Qudah, the foreign ministry’s spokesperson, emphasized that the evacuation efforts will continue as long as necessary.
