Jordanian expat remittances rise 3.2% in first three quarters of 2024

Jordan Daily – Preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan indicates a 3.2% rise in remittances from Jordanian expatriates to the Kingdom during the first three quarters of 2024, reaching $2.645 billion. This compares to $2.563 billion during the same period in 2023.

Meanwhile, outbound tourism spending saw a 2.0% increase in the first 10 months of 2024, totaling $1.658 billion, compared to the same period last year, according to the data.
