Jordan Daily – Jordanian food industry companies have begun showcasing their products at the Food Exhibition Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, running from July 2 to July 4.
The participation, organized by the Jordan Exports in partnership with the Jordan Chamber of Industry, includes 12 companies aiming to promote national products and forge new international trade ties, according to a statement.
The exhibition features 500 companies globally, highlighting opportunities to explore new markets amidst strong local and international visitor turnout.
Jordan’s food industry has experienced notable growth, leveraging advanced food processing and packaging technologies to align with King Abdullah’s vision for achieving food security by 2033.
The sector currently comprises 2,800 companies , employing approximately 55,000 workers and attracting investments exceeding 1.5 billion dinars. Jordan’s food sector exports amount to around JD 850 million , constituting 65% of the domestic market consumption, the statement noted.
