Thousands of Jordanians took to the streets in various cities on Friday to protest against the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip that has killed thousands of Palestinians, mostly civilians, since October 7.
The protesters, who marched after Friday prayers, waved Jordanian and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and against the Israeli aggression.
In Amman, the capital, a large crowd gathered outside the Al-Husseini Mosque, the main mosque in the city, and marched towards the city center.
Similar demonstrations were held in other cities , including Irbid, Aqaba, Ma’an, Karak and Tafila, where the protesters called for an end to the Israeli war on Gaza and the protection of civilians from the Israeli attacks.
