Jordanians to welcome King after U.S. visit

By : JD

Jordan Daily – Jordanians are preparing to welcome King Abdullah II with pride and gratitude as he is set to return to the country on Thursday afternoon from Washington, D.C.

In anticipation of his arrival, widespread public calls have emerged for a gathering at Marka Airport, where citizens from across the kingdom are expected to come together.

The turnout is meant to honor the king’s steadfast commitment to defending Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian issue, as well as his dedication to safeguarding Jordan’s interests, stability, and the well-being of its people.

On Wednesday, Speaker of the House Ahmad Safadi urged Jordanians to join in welcoming King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein upon their return from the official visit. He called for a reception that reflects the firm stance of the king in defending Jordan and Palestine.
