Jordan Daily – Jordan beat South Korea 2-0 on Wednesday to advance to its first Asian Cup final, with goals from Yazan Al-Naimat and Musa Al-Tamari in the second half.
The two teams were locked in a stalemate until the 53rd minute, when Al-Naimat broke the deadlock with a low shot after Al-Tamari’s clever pass.
Al-Tamari doubled the lead nine minutes later, after a solo run that left three defenders behind.
Jordan, who has never gone beyond the quarter-finals in its previous four appearances, will face the winner of the other semi-final between Iran and Qatar.
