Jordan Daily – Dr. Mohammad Thnaibat, Chairman of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC), has been honored as a “World Leader Businessperson” by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), recognizing his innovative and systematic leadership.
Thnaibat, who also served as Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister, received the Excellence in Business Management award, further cementing his reputation for business expertise.
JPMC’s recent recognitions include the R4E Certificate of Recognition of Excellence from the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence, reflecting the company’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The Indo-Jordanian Chemicals Company, a JPMC subsidiary, was awarded the 2023 International Award for Occupational Safety and Health by the British Council for International Safety, highlighting its dedication to safety standards.
Dr. Thnaibat stated that winning the international award reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining international standards in all fields, particularly in occupational safety, to ensure a safe working environment and safeguard workers’ well-being.
Under Thnaibat’s management, JPMC is expanding its manufacturing operations, including a $1 billion investment in new fertilizer facilities in Aqaba, and has risen in the ranks of the Middle East’s top companies, now valued at $4.1 billion.
