Jordan Daily – King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah returned to the country on Thursday following a working visit to the United States, during which the King met with U.S. President Donald Trump and expressed opposition to any plans for the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Thousands of Jordanians lined up outside Marka Airport and along the expected route of the royal motorcade to show their support for the King’s stance, which firmly rejects any forced relocation of Palestinians.
Crowds greeted the King with cheers and celebratory chants, waving Jordanian flags and holding up pictures of the King.
