Jordan Daily – His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday received phone calls from NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Council President António Costa.
The calls covered regional developments, especially the current situation in Syria, with His Majesty stressing the need to coordinate international efforts to protect Syria and Syrians.
Discussions also covered the need to reach comprehensive calm in the region, in order to bring security and stability for its peoples.
The King reaffirmed the need to put an end to the Israeli war on Gaza and bolster efforts to ensure the success of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
